CC Battery discharger schematic This is a very simple CC (Constant current) discharger for Li-Ion batteries. It will pull approximately 400mA until the protection circuit kicks in at 2.5V at which point the LED will go out, indicating discharge is complete. The tab of Q1 needs to be heat-sunk as it will dissipate about 1.32 watts from a fully charged battery. And no, don't even ask, this is not a fully temperature compensated design!!! |
