Compact Emulator for 740 Family M38000T2-CPE =========================================================================== This firmware repairs the problem announced by the Tool News RSO-M38000T2-CPE_2-040316D. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- How To Set Up Firmware Files to M3T-PD38M and To Start It --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. File copy Copy the M38000A1.C0 file into the directory where the execution file of M3T-PD38M (pd38m.exe) exists. 2. Downloading firmware Start up M3T-PD38M and download the copied firmware files to your emulator. The procedure is as follows: (1) Connecting the USB Interface Cable Connect the USB Interface Cable to the USB interface connector and USB port of the host machine. (2) Connecting the Target System Connect the Target System with M38000T2-CPE. (3) Starting up M38000T2-CPE system Power on the emulator system. Within 2 seconds of activation power up the emulator, press the System Reset Switch on the emulator. This will switch the emulator to maintenance mode. System Safe LED will blink when maintenance mode started. (4) Starting up M3T-PD38M Start up M3T-PD38M and specify the MCU file. Then press the OK button. Push OK Button if the message of "We should download new firmware." is indicated. Downloading the new is started automatically in this step. (5) Confirm the firmware version Your firmware's version can be confirmed by the following steps: - Start up M3T-PD38M. - Select the [Help] -> [About] menu in M3T-PD38M. - On the Version dialog box that appears, confirm the version of the firmware "M38000A1.C0" is V.1.02.00.
