 Hanging a 5/8" plywood ceiling by yourself just requires a couple of steps: Position a 2x4 on top of a jack so that it can't move side to side and high enough that the plywood can't tilt off. |
 Set the pre-cut sheet on top of the 2x4 at its approximate center of mass and then raise the jack to put the sheet into place. I use PL375 adhesive on all the joints and drywall screws. |
